My interest in introducing new and different woodcarving tools began over forty six years ago with my first job in the trade. I discovered that woodcarvers, whether they’re beginners, hobbyists or artisans, are talented and interesting people always in search of innovation. I was so intrigued, I decided to see what I could do to serve the woodcarving community better.

 After several trips to Europe, where I visited with manufacturers and cottage businesses that served the carving world, I turned up not just a few new tools, but hundreds of exciting items I knew my woodcarving customers would love. In 1991, I opened my own business, Jaymes Company, to showcase our extensive and unique inventory and special order items.

 Today we are known for knowledge on using of all our products, responding to our customers needs and offering those hard to find items. If we don’t have what you need, we’re happy to direct you to the right source.
